This website is made by the State of New Jersey.  It offers short videos about various aspects of New Jersey history. Bubble #1 links you to a video tour of the Lenape Village in Waterloo Village. It provides great information about the way the Lenape Indians lived and also gives great visuals so children can see what they are actually learning about. The video is about 8 minutes long, and would be easy to incorporate into lessons. This is also a great alternative to the Waterloo Village field trip if the trip is not possible.

This is the website of a non-profit organization, Lenape Lifeway Programs, that runs programs in schools, libraries, community centers, etc. dedicated to teaching about the Lenape Indians and keeping their memory alive. The presenter is John T. Craft, is an archeologist and an educator who has helped discover and excavate Lenape villages and has written The Indians of Lenapehoking, an educational unit on the Indians of New Jersey. All programs he runs are curriculum-based and contain a slide presentation, stories and many touchable objects and artifacts, including authentic clothing, tools, musical instruments, artwork, masks and games. They run between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the price you wish to pay.

There are many lesson plans on this website that teachers can incorporate into their units on Native Americans. There are a few activities specifically about Lenape Indians and a lot of activities about Native American life in general, non-specific to a tribe.

It provides a long list of answers to the questions most often asked by children, with Lenni Lenape pictures and links that are suitable for all ages. There is infromation about literally all aspects of Lenape life and culture and a vast amount of knowledge on this webpage. It is teacher- and student-friendly.
